How long will it take to restore my possessions?

We can clean emergency items and deliver them back to you in within 24-48 hours. In most cases, we can have your entire order ready for delivery in less than two weeks. Ultimately, you can set the schedule to coincide with the restoration of your residence.

All of your items are placed in bags that have your name and job number clearly displayed, while our team is on-site. Each customer’s order is then sorted separately at our facility to prevent mistakes and cross-contamination. From beginning to end, your name and job number will always be clearly visible on the bag, box, washing machine, or label that contains or accompanies your items.

FRSTeam by Gunderson operates a climate controlled, secured and insured warehouse, that you can visit, to store your restored items until you are ready for delivery.

After using the care label to ensure the correct cleaning and finishing process is used, your items will arrive by van with a uniformed technician ready to assist you. Any items that we collected on a hanger will return on a hanger. Items that were folded will be folded, etc. Here are some examples of our packaging methods:

  • Bulk items, such as socks, undergarments, towels, sheets and pillowcases, will be folded and delivered to you in boxes labeled with content descriptions.
  • Most shoes, purses and similar items will also be returned in labeled boxes.

The main causes of water damage in a home could include: fire damage, severe weather/storms, blocked drainage lines, broken pipes, leaking roofs and broken appliances.

  3. Stop the water, if possible and move to higher ground.
  4. Ventilate wet areas and have standing water professionally removed.

No. Mold does not develop in all cases. The experts at FRSTeam by Gunderson will work with you and your insurance company to determine if there is evidence of mold growth in your home.

Although there is indeed a risk of pollution from basic water damage, sewage and flood water contain harmful contaminates, bacteria and other substances that may be very harmful. These contaminates are also easily transmitted. Children and pets are especially vulnerable to the pollutants caused by this type of damage.

It may not be possible to restore certain items such as carpeting, dry wall and other absorbent materials after they have been in contact with this type of damage. They may need to be replaced.
